Short version: MyStream has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your library and history stay on your Mac.

This website

The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, ads or tracking scripts. Its fonts and images are served from mystream.lol itself.
The website and downloads are delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details (such as the page requested, time and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The download page reads a small file with the current version number from download.mystream.lol. No personal information is sent with it.

The MyStream app

Stored on your Mac: your profiles, library, watch history, settings and any pictures you add. Sign-in tokens and keys are kept in the macOS Keychain.
No MyStream servers: the app doesn't send your library, history or usage to us. There is no telemetry or crash reporting to us.
Services you use: the app connects directly to the services needed for what you do, and those services receive your IP address and the request itself. These include metadata and artwork services (for example TMDB, Cinemeta, AniList, Kitsu and TVmaze), accounts you connect (AniList, MyAnimeList), Discord if you turn on your Discord status, comments and ratings services, and every add-on you install. Each service handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Features you start: subtitle search sends the title to the subtitle service; song identification sends a short audio clip to AudD only when you ask it to; debrid services you connect receive the links you send them.
Add-ons: add-ons you install see which titles you look up and play. Only install add-ons you trust.
Discord status: if you turn it on, Discord shows what you're watching. With poster sharing on, Discord fetches the poster through images.weserv.nl; your own IP address isn't sent there.
Updates: the app checks download.mystream.lol for a newer version. This sends no personal information beyond what any web request contains.
Diagnostics: if you export diagnostics, the file stays on your Mac until you choose to share it. It contains no tokens, titles or account names.

Children

MyStream is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Your choices and rights

Because your data is stored on your own Mac, you control it: delete items in the app, sign out of services, or delete the app and its data. We don't hold personal data about you that we could access, correct or delete, but you can contact us at legal@mystream.lol with any privacy question. For data held by a service you connected, contact that service.
