MyStream

Terms of Use

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms apply to the MyStream app for Mac and to this website, mystream.lol (together, "MyStream"). By downloading or using MyStream, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't download or use MyStream.

1. What MyStream is

MyStream is a media player and organizer. It shows information about movies, shows and anime from public metadata services, keeps your own library and watch history on your Mac, and plays files and streams that you choose.

MyStream does not host, upload, store, sell or distribute any movies, shows, anime or other video content, and it does not come with any streaming sources. It has no catalog of its own.

2. Add-ons and other services are third parties

Add-ons, torrent sources, debrid services and tracking or metadata services are independent third parties that you choose to install or connect. They decide what they offer. MyStream does not operate, review, control, monitor or endorse them or the content they link to, and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, legality or terms. Your use of a third-party service is between you and that service and is governed by its own terms.

3. Your responsibilities

Before add-ons, stream sources, torrents or debrid services can be opened in the app, MyStream asks you to accept a notice that repeats these points.

4. License

The MyStream app is made available under its open-source license (MIT), which comes with the app and is listed on the open-source licenses page. Components made by others keep their own licenses. These terms don't take away any rights those licenses give you.

5. No warranty

MyStream is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don't promise that MyStream will be error-free, secure or always available, or that any third-party service will work with it.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the people who make MyStream are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to MyStream, any add-on or third-party service, or any content you access with it. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for MyStream, which is nothing.

Some places don't allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. In those places, they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be waived.

7. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover any claims, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your misuse of MyStream, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of anyone's rights.

8. Changes and ending

We may change MyStream or these terms. When the terms change, we update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use MyStream after that means you accept the new terms. You can stop using MyStream at any time by deleting the app.

9. Other

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of these terms isn't a waiver of it. Questions about these terms: legal@mystream.lol.
